Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 lb. shelled raw peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put sugar, syrup, butter and salt in an electric frypan.
    Heat to 350\u00b0 until dissolved.
    Turn heat to 400\u00b0.
    Add peanuts and stir constantly until lightly brown (about 7 minutes). Sprinkle baking soda onto candy. Turn off.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Grease bottom of spoon and spread evenly.
    Let cool, then store in covered container.
