Tofu Chili With Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans pinto or kidney beans
    1 block firm tofu, frozen and thawed
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. peanut butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1/2 Tbsp. onion powder
    1/4 tsp. garlic
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 large green pepper
    2 large onions, diced
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 to 2 hot chile peppers, chopped (optional)
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cumin
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. coriander
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
Preparation
    Put aside beans and liquid.
    Squeeze water from tofu and tear in pieces.
    Combine next 7 ingredients in bowl.
    Add to this tofu pieces and mix until coated.
    Then fry tofu mixture in 1/4 cup oil over medium heat until all liquid is cooked out and tofu browned.
