Crumb-Topped Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large tomatoes
2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. melted margarine
1/2 tsp. dried basil, oregano or thyme, crushed or 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley or chives
1/8 tsp. pepper
dash of garlic or onion salt
Preparation
-
Remove stems and cores from tomatoes.
Halve crosswise.
Place, cut side up, in baking dish.
Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, margarine, herbs, pepper and garlic or onion salt. Sprinkle atop tomatoes.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
