Chickpeas In Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 c. cooked or canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
3/8 c. feta cheese
Preparation

Add wine and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens into a sauce, about 14 minutes.
Stir in chickpeas and 3/8 cup feta cheese, crumbled.
Stir until cheese melts, about 4 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and let sit 10 minutes before serving.
