Sauteed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large peppers, red or green, seed and cut into 1/4-inch strips
    1/4 c. oil, divided
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sherry
    1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
Preparation
    Saute peppers in 1/2 the oil until they start to brown.
    Add remaining oil, salt, sherry and wine vinegar; simmer 15 minutes. Chill.
    Serves 2.
    Nice with sandwiches.
