Heavenly Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. cold water
2 large apples, diced
1/2 c. chopped nuts
juice of 1 lemon
1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation

Dissolve jello in hot water; add marshmallows.
Stir until melted.
Stir in cold water and chill until partially set.
Add pineapple, apples and nuts to jello mixture; chill until firm. Beat sugar, lemon juice and eggs together.
Cook in double boiler until thick.
Cool.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Spread over jello; chill.
