French Butter Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. real butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix together and chill 30 minutes.
    Shape into small balls and flatten with a fork that has been dipped in water.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes approximately 48.
