Chocolate Syrup For Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 c. cocoa
    1 c. hot water
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In large saucepan, mix sugar, salt and cocoa.
    Add hot water and whisk until smooth.
    Over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and stir.
    Pour into jar and let cool. Cover and refrigerate.
    Can be heated in microwave to warm before serving, if desired.
    Makes 2 cups.
