Vegetarian Pasta Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. fresh asparagus, cut
    2 1/2 c. broccoli flowerets
    1 onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 carrots, scraped and sliced
    1 sweet red pepper, chopped
    1 sweet yellow pepper, chopped
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. vegetable broth
    4 green onions, chopped
    2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. linguine or thin spaghetti
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation
    Steam broccoli and asparagus for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Remove from heat and set aside.
    Saute onion and garlic in oil in a large pan until tender.
    Add carrots and chopped peppers to onion mixture and saute until crisp-tender.
    Remove from heat and drain.
