Linda'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 lb. beef stew meat
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3-1/2 cups V-8 juice
    1 onion, quartered
    2 cups sliced carrots
    2-1/2 cups cubed, peeled potatoes
    1 cup celery
Preparation
    Place flour in plastic bag.
    Add meat cubes, a few at a time, shaking to coat.
    In a large skillet brown meat, half at a time, in hot oil.
    Layer in Crock Pot, potatoes, onion, carrots and celery.
    Put meat on top of vegetables, pour V-8 juice over the meat. Cover, cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or till meat and vegetables are tender.
    Serve with buttered bread!
