Bacon And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    1 c. onions (use 1 big onion)
    2 c. cubed potatoes (small)
    1 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 carton sour cream (medium size carton)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped dried parsley
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp and saute onions 2 or 3 minutes.
    Pour off fat and add potatoes and water; bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until tender.
    Stir in soup and sour cream; crumble bacon into pot.
    Add milk, salt, pepper and parsley.
    Heat to serving temperature but do not boil (warm not hot).
