Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. cinnamon
12 slices bread
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Melt margarine in 9 x 13-inch pan in hot oven.\tAdd brown sugar and cinnamon; mix well.
Cut bread into 1-inch squares. Place bread into the pan over mixture.
Beat eggs with milk.
Pour over bread.
Chill, tightly covered, in refrigerator overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serve with warm syrup and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Yields 12 servings. Approximately 250 calories per serving.
