Smothered Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer
3 medium onions
1 clove garlic
1 stick butter
1/2 green pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. flour
3 dashes turmeric
black pepper
Preparation

Clean and cut chicken in servings.
Melt butter in roaster and add flour.
Let it brown, then add chicken and seasonings.
Partly cover chicken with water.
Cover the roaster and cook in a 450\u00b0 oven until tender; lower the oven temperature to 300\u00b0 and cook until well done.
Add more water if needed.
Serves 4 to 6.
