Rice With Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick margarine, melted
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
    2 c. rice
    6 c. water
    3 small cubes chicken bouillon
    salt to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter; saute onions for 2 minutes.
    Drain mushrooms.
    Add to onion.
    Also add 2 cups of rice.
    Brown for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Add water, bouillon and pepper; bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer with lid on until it absorbs liquid (20 minutes).
    Add salt, if needed.
