Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large potato
    1 (10 oz.) can clams
    1/2 stick butter
    parsley, chopped
    1/2 c. water
    1 onion, diced
    1 pt. half and half
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Dice 1 large potato; boil in water and clam juice from can of clams.
    Boil 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add clams, diced onion, butter, salt and pepper and half and half.
    Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes.
