Rosemary'S Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 (15 oz.) can sweetened milk
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Melt butter in heavy saucepan; blend in sugar and salt.
Stir in syrup and milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until candy reaches 244\u00b0 (boiling stage).
Boil for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour into buttered 9 x 9-inch pan and cut.
