Overnight Lettuce Salad(Best Made The Day Before Serving.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. green pepper. chopped
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 pkg. frozen peas (unthawed)
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. grated cheddar cheese
    8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Layer first 5 ingredients in pan.
    Spread with mayonnaise, then sprinkle with sugar.
    Distribute cheese and bacon over all. Refrigerate, cover with foil.
    Best made day before.
