Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. mashed potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 c. water (boiling)
    1 bouillon cube
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 carrots, chopped and cooked
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. flour (about)
Preparation
    When mashing potatoes, use just enough milk and butter to make a stiff mixture.
    Fry hamburger and onion; pour off fat.
    Add thyme, salt, pepper and carrots.
    Dissolve bouillon in boiling water.
    Thicken with flour and pour over hamburger.
    Put 1/2 of potatoes in casserole.
    Pour meat mixture over potatoes and cover with rest of potatoes.
    Smooth potatoes with a fork.
    Bake for about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
