Never Fail Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 unbeaten egg whites
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a double boiler. Use mixer to stir.
    Beat briskly 3 minutes or until frosting is fluffy and holds shape.
    Add vanilla.
