Black-Eyed Susans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter
2 to 3 Tbsp. water
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
24 pecan halves, lightly toasted
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
24 whole pitted dates
10x sugar
Preparation

Bring cheese and butter to room temperature.
Beat with electric mixer until combined. Add flour, 2 tablespoons water, salt and pepper.
Stir until combined.
If crumbly, add water.
