Vanilla Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour (plain)
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour.
    Add baking powder and salt, then sift again. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, nuts and vanilla.
    Add the flour mixture gradually, mixing well.
    Shape into rolls, 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
    Roll in wax paper; chill overnight.
    Cut into 1/2-inch slices.
    Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 450\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
