Onion Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. butter
2 pkg. dry yeast
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Boil milk.
Set off heat and add chopped onion, salt and butter.
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of real warm milk.
When cool enough to put finger in, put yeast in mixture.
Add flour.
Put in a warm place to rise until it doubles in size.
Work down real well with greasy hands.
Put in loaf pans and let rise again until it doubles in size.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
