Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 pkg. active yeast
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    5 c. unsifted self-rising flour
Preparation
    In small saucepan, heat buttermilk until bubbles form at the edge.
    Set aside and allow to cool, then stir in egg, oil, sugar and yeast until well blended.
    Set aside 5 minutes.
    In large bowl, stir together 5 cups of flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
    Make well in center of flour mixture.
    Pour buttermilk mixture into well.
    Stir until soft dough forms.
