Carrots And Onions Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 12 raw carrots
    1 large onion
    4 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Clean carrots and slice thin.
    Cook until tender.
    Chop onion fine; brown lightly in butter.
    Add salt, pepper and sugar to onion; mix well.
    Pour onion mixture over cooked carrots; bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 6.
