Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag hash brown potatoes
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion
    8 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes slightly so they are easier to stir.
    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
    Reserve enough cheese to cover the top of casserole.
    Put mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; spread remaining cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Can also be prepared in crock-pot.
