Shrimp Provencal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 c. sliced onions
    2 or 3 cloves garlic
    4 or 5 peeled fresh tomatoes
    1 or 2 bay leaves
    pinch of sugar
    1/4 c. water
    2 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 oz. Feta cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in olive oil;
    add tomatoes that have been peeled,
    cut
    and
    seeded,\tbay leaves, garlic and 2 teaspoons sugar or
    to
    taste.
    Cook\tabout
    1/2 hour; add shrimp, salt, pepper and water and cook about 5 minutes.\tTransfer to baking dish;
    sprinkle
    Feta cheese over shrimp and bake until cheese melts (approximately 10 minutes at 375\u00b0).
