Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat or beef, cut in cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
    1 c. tomato juice
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    4 large carrots, sliced
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 Tbsp. catsup
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a heavy pan.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or at 250\u00b0 for 3 1/2 to 5 hours. Thicken with 2 tablespoons cornstarch, mixed with 1/2 cup water a few minutes before serving.
