Cucumber Cottage Cheese Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large cucumbers
    1 Tbsp. plain gelatin
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 1/2 c. drained sieved cottage cheese
Preparation
    Peel and quarter cucumbers and remove seeds.
    Grate cucumbers and strain, reserving juice and shreds.
    Soften gelatin in cucumber juice and dissolve it over hot water.
    Season with a little salt, onion salt, paprika and white pepper to taste.
    Stir in grated cucumbers and let it get cold, but not set.
    Fold in cottage cheese and mix well.
    Wet mold in cold water.
    Turn in mixture.
    Chill 2 to 3 hours, until firm.
    Unmold on cold platter.
    Serve very cold with mayonnaise.
