Bread Crumb Molasses Cake(1936) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. bacon fat
3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. dried bread crumbs
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. wheat germ
Preparation
-
Put bacon fat into bowl and melt it by pouring boiling water over it.
Next, pour in molasses which has baking soda mixed in it.
Now add dried bread crumbs and raisins.
Now dump in whole wheat flour, salt, ginger and wheat germ.
