Country Style Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 or 12 pieces round (cube) steak
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. meat tenderizer
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Brown steak in oil in skillet and remove.
    Add flour to hot oil in skillet; add salt and brown flour.
    Pour in water and add remaining ingredients, stirring to mix well.
    Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or so.
    Place steak in slow cooker which has been heated to 250\u00b0 and pour flour mixture over steak. Put lid on cooker and simmer for 2 hours, or until tender.
