Amish Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
    1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple with juice
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, mix sugar, flour and soda.
    Add eggs, pineapple with juice and pecans, if desired.
    Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Spread with icing.
