Aunt Dene'S Baked Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Put yolks and 1/2 cup sugar in double boiler.
    Mix well and add lemon juice.
    Cook until thick.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar.
    Fold 1/2 of the egg white mixture into cooled filling.
    Put in cooked pie shell.
    Top with the other egg whites and brown lightly.
