Creamy Hash Brown Bake - cooking recipe

1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 (28 to 30 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the soups, sour cream, butter and onion. Add potatoes and mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with crushed potato chips. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
