Busy Day Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. stew beef
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 c. beef consomme
1/2 c. red wine
1 large onion
Preparation

Put beef in casserole, salt lightly.
Sprinkle with flour and bread crumbs.
Pour red wine and consomme together and then pour over meat.
Slice onion on top.
Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours or until meat is done.
Serves 6.
