Puff Danish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. all-purpose flour (self-rising can be used)
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    3 eggs
    Glaze
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup flour until it resembles small peas.
    Sprinkle 2 tablespoons water over flour, mix it with a fork.
    Form a ball; divide in half.
    Pat each half into a rectangle, 12 x 3 inches, on an ungreased cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart.
