Super Bowl Beer And Cheddar Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. carrots, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. onions, chopped
2 tsp. vegetable oil
6 c. chicken stock
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
shot or two Tabasco
shot of Worcestershire
12 oz. beer
parsley
Preparation
-
Saute vegetables in oil until golden.
Add to boiling soup stock and simmer 45 minutes.
Dredge cheese in flour and add to stock, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add all other ingredients, stirring until hot and garnish with parsley.
You may add sliced cooked sausage, if desired.
Serve with bagels and beer for a whole meal.
