Squash Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash
    1 large onion, grated
    2 c. fine bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender, then drain well; mash squash and add other ingredients.
    Add more bread crumbs if necessary to handle. Form into oblong croquettes and roll in corn meal.
    Fry in deep fat until brown.
