Mom'S Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. shortening (plus 1 or 2 Tbsp.)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. water (may need a bit more)
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together well.
For pie shell, bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 375\u00b0 until golden brown, about 1 to 3 minutes.
For pie with top crust, bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 375\u00b0 or 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
