Old Style Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 lb. salted butter
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven
    to
    325\u00b0.
    Grease
    and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    With\tmixer
    on low speed, cream butter until soft. Slowly add
    the
    sugar while mixer is running.
    Once all sugar has been added, beat until mixture is fluffy.
    Slowly add eggs (one at
    a time),
    mixing
    each
    well\tinto
    the butter-sugar mixture.
    Add flour
    and\tsalt,
    mixing
    until
    smooth.
    Add vanilla and milk, mixing until smooth.
    Pour into the loaf pan and bake 75 to 90 minutes at 325\u00b0 or until done.
