Honey Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. honey
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sour milk
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Cream shortening with the honey; add eggs, sour milk and flour which has been sifted with baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Sprinkle nuts on top and between layers as desired.
