Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, broken
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. water
Preparation

In saucepan, heat sugar, corn syrup, salt and water.
Bring to boil.
Add nuts.
Cook until it reaches 300\u00b0.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and baking soda.
Pour at once onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
With two forks, spread mixture.
Let cool, then break into pieces.
Store in airtight container.
