Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans salt-free tomatoes, chopped
    3 cans chicken broth (remove fat)
    2 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. sliced green beans
    2 c. sliced okra
    2 c. sliced celery
    2 c. shredded cabbage (optional)
    2 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    Put all ingredients into a large pot.
    Bring to a boil rapidly for about 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to a slow boil.
    Cover and cook for at least 2 hours or until all vegetables are tender.
    Remove bay leaves before storing.
    Average portion: 2 cups soup.
