Gooseberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can lotus seeds
    1 (15 oz.) can gooseberries
    1 (8 oz.) can mandarins
Preparation
    Drain lotus seeds, gooseberries and mandarins reserving mandarin syrup.
    Gently mix lotus seeds, mandarin segments and gooseberries.
    Spoon reserved syrup over mixture and let stand for 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
    Serve on a bed of chopped bok choy or iceberg lettuce.
    Serves 4.
