Strawberry Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup, drained
    1 mashed banana
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Place strawberries in a dish to thaw a little.
    Mash banana.
    Dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water. Mash strawberries a little.
    Add banana, pineapple and nuts to Jell-O.
    Place 1/2 of mixture in 9 x 13 dish or mold and place in refrigerator to set until firm enough to spread sour cream over the top (about 15 minutes).
    Remove and cover with sour cream.
    Top with remaining 1/2 of Jell-O mixture and place in refrigerator to chill.
