Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    red food coloring
    1/2 pkg. small strawberry jello
    strawberries, capped and cut up
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Cook and cool pie shell.
    In large pot, mix cornstarch and sugar, then heat, adding water a little at a time, then add food coloring.
    Boil 3 to 5 minutes (until thickens).
    Remove from heat and stir longer.
    Add jello and stir until dissolved.
    Add strawberries to mixture when cooled down (not cold).
    Pour into cooled pie shell.
    Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours before eating.
