Butter Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. white sugar
    7 Tbsp. water
    2 (8 oz.) Hershey bars
    2 c. ground or chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter, add sugar and water; cook, stirring constantly, until candy thermometer reaches 340\u00b0.
    I use a large heavy aluminum pan and stir with a long handled rubber spatula.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan or better yet a heavy aluminum pancake griddle.
    Let cool a few minutes and then break the Hershey bars over top.
    Let it melt a minute and spread over top.
    Sprinkle with 2 cups ground or chopped nuts.
    (I usually use pecans, however, cashews or whatever are delicious too.)
    Press nuts down into chocolate a bit.
    Let cool and cut by breaking pieces off.
