Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo, melted, or butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. meal
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 uncooked pie shell
Preparation

Put pie shell in oven 5 to 10 minutes to get part of moisture out.
Melt margarine and add sugar.
Beat eggs and add to cooled butter and sugar.
Add vinegar, meal and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
If pie shakes in the middle, cook 5 or 10 minutes longer.
