Easy Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe

1 (1 lb. 2 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. cream sherry
1/3 c. poppy seed
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stirring to blend.
Beat at medium speed for 5 minutes, scraping sides of bowl frequently.
Pour into greased 10-inch Bundt pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool in pan on rack about 15 minutes.
Turn out on cake plate; cool completely before cutting.
Sift powdered sugar over top, if desired.
