Cinnamon Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. water
    2 to 3 tsp. cinnamon oil *
    1 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Lightly oil one 15 x 11-inch baking pan.
    Mix sugar, syrup and water in heavy pan.
    Bring to a boil, tapping bottom of pan to help melt sugar.
    Using candy thermometer, without stirring, continue boiling until hard crack stage (300\u00b0).
    Remove from heat and add quickly oil and food coloring.
    Pour in pan.
    When cool, use mallet or rolling pin.
    Break into pieces and store in airtight container.
