Paper Bag Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 c. green apples, sliced
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and the cinnamon; mix with the apples.
Place apples in deep 9-inch pie pan lined with pie crust.
Pile high in center.
Sprinkle apples with lemon juice.
Mix remaining sugar, flour and melted butter; sprinkle evenly over the apples.
Place in a brown paper bag.
Fold over ends and secure with paper clips.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
